We designed the tool to feel exactly like a modern app store. Here is a breakdown of what you will find in each section.

Home / Explore

• Featured Tools: The top scrolling shelf. It highlights brand sponsors and creators who have boosted their GPTs.
• YouTube / 3D Carousels: Quick scrolling horizontal lists for our most popular categories.
• Trending Community: A constantly shuffling showcase of the best tools submitted by other users.
• From Creators You Follow: If you follow someone, their newest creations automatically appear in a dedicated shelf here.
• All Generators: The main vertical grid at the bottom containing all official 3schools studio tools.

Community Library

Click "Community" in the sidebar to see tools built strictly by other users.

• Creator Chips: At the top, you'll see a row of circular avatars representing the top community authors.
• Creator Profile Banners: When you tap a creator's avatar, a large profile banner appears showing their follower count, verified badge, and a "Follow" button. All the tools below it filter to show only their creations.

My GPTs & Bookmarks

• My GPTs: Your private workspace. This holds every bot you create. Tools here are completely private to your Google Drive until you explicitly check the "Publish to Community" box.
• Bookmarks: Any tool you click the bookmark icon on will be saved here for instant access later.

Exploring Categories & Search

3schools GPTs organizes hundreds of tools using an intuitive, mobile-first Google Play Store interface.

"What Are You Looking For?" Category Bar

Directly below the search box on the Explore page, you will find a two-row horizontal category bar:

• Dynamic Topics: Tap chips like YouTube, Storytelling, 3D Design, or Shorts & Reels to filter tools instantly.
• View All Categories Drawer: Click the View All chip at the end of the second row to open a full alphabetized drawer of all 50+ categories.

The Unified Search Box with Scopes

The top search bar includes a scope selector dropdown on the left side:

Running Prompts & Versions

When you tap on any card, you enter the dedicated GPT Details and Chat workspace.

The Details Page Layout

• App Hero: Shows the tool's 16:9 squircle icon on the left, next to the bold title, author badge, and cost.
• Media Showcase: If a tool contains multiple example images, a horizontal preview slider displays sample outputs in 16:9 and 9:16 mobile formats.
• Clickable Tags: Under the description, tap any tag like 🏷️ YouTube to jump directly to all tools in that niche.
• Creator Action Row: For community tools, this row provides the creator badge, a Follow button, and a Report flag.

Versions (Short, Long, Explained)

Some advanced tools offer multiple versions. Look for the dropdown pill next to the coin cost (e.g. Short vs Detailed). Selecting a version automatically changes the instructions and coin cost.

1-Tap Conversation Starters

Under the "Try These Prompts" section, click any starter card. The app instantly copies the prompt into the input box and begins generation.

Connecting Free AI Keys

Every standard tool in our app requires your own API key to function. Because you provide the key, the generations are 100% free and unlimited.

How to Add Your Key:

1. Click the Settings (Gear) icon in the header or sidebar.
2. Select your provider: Google Gemini, Groq, or OpenRouter.
3. Paste your free API key into the text box and click Save Settings.

Advanced: Using Multiple Keys (Key Rotation)

If you generate a lot of content and hit rate limits, you can add multiple keys. Simply separate them with a comma:

AIzaSyKey1..., AIzaSyKey2..., AIzaSyKey3...

The app will randomly pick one of your keys every time you send a message, keeping you well under the provider's limits!

Advanced: Using Custom Models

We provide a dropdown of popular models, but you aren't restricted to them. If a new model comes out today, you can use it immediately:

1. In the Settings modal, open the Model dropdown.
2. Select "Enter Custom ID..." at the bottom of the list.
3. A text box will appear. Paste the exact model string (e.g., gemini-3.8-flash).

Coins, Referrals & Rewards

While all standard tools are free with your own API key, our dual-wallet economy powers high-end "Server GPTs" without requiring monthly subscription fees.

How to Earn Free Permanent Coins

1. Tap your profile avatar in the header to open the Account popup.
2. Click Share Referral Link (+200).
3. When a friend joins using your link, you instantly receive +200 Permanent Coins in your notifications!

Claiming Offers (Bell Icon)

When you have a referral reward or special offer, a red dot appears on the Bell icon in the header. Click the Bell, tap Claim Coins, and your balance updates live on screen.

Building Custom GPTs

Anyone can build custom AI tools and store them securely in their private Google Drive.

The Easy Way: Use the AI GPT Builder

Don't know how to write a massive 1,500-word system prompt? We built a meta-bot to do it for you.

1. Click + Create GPT in the left sidebar.
2. At the top of the modal, click the glowing ✨ Build with AI button.
3. This opens a chat with our official Custom GPT Bot Builder. Just tell it your idea (e.g., "I want an AI that writes Instagram Reels about luxury cars.")
4. The AI will write the entire professional system prompt and provide a blue 🚀 Open & Auto-Fill in Builder button.
5. Click it, and all the fields (Title, Description, Prompt, Tags) will instantly fill out for you! Hit Save.

Note: If you are editing an existing GPT, the button changes to 🪄 Improve with AI. It will pull your existing prompt into the chat so the AI can upgrade it without you retyping anything.

The Manual Way:

1. Click + Create GPT.
2. Upload a logo image or rely on the emoji the AI suggested.
3. Enter a Name and a short description.
4. Enter your System Prompt.
5. Add conversation starters separated by the pipe symbol (|). E.g., Fix my code | Write a script
6. Select up to 3 relevant categories from the horizontal tag selector.
7. Click Save to My GPTs.

Publishing to Community

Share your creative tools with thousands of users in our Community Library.

How to Submit for Public Review:

1. Open your tool from the My GPTs tab and click the pencil (Edit) icon.
2. Check the box: Publish / Resubmit to Community Library.
3. Click Save to My GPTs.
4. Your submission enters our automated review queue. Once approved, it appears in the Community tab and creator rankings!

Safe Live Updates (Zero Downtime):

If your tool is already live in the community and you edit it:

• The live public bot stays online and functioning so your users never experience a broken link.
• Your updates are submitted as a review draft for admin inspection.
• Once approved, the live post updates seamlessly.

Boosting Your GPT for 5 Days

Want your community tool featured on the Explore homepage shelf? Use the Boost feature to bypass organic rankings.

How to Boost:

1. Go to the My GPTs tab.
2. On any published community tool, click the ⚡ (Boost) button.
3. Confirm in the modal: Costs 250 Paid Coins.
4. Your tool is pinned with the 🚀 Boosted badge on the Explore "Featured Tools" shelf and Trending Community.

Note: Because we use high-speed edge caching around the world, your boost is guaranteed for a full 5 days, but it starts fully from tomorrow across all active users' devices.

Notes, Scripts & Chat History

Organize generated prompts, write YouTube scripts, and access past conversations across all your devices.

Notes & Scripts Scratchpad

• Click Notes & Scripts in the sidebar or tap the Document icon inside the chat bar.
• Editor Tab: Write your scripts and brainstorm freely using clean, comfortable typography.
• Preview & Copy Tab: Wrap any prompt inside ```text ... ``` to automatically generate a magical 1-click COPY button!
• Click Save to backup the note directly to your Google Drive.

Chat History

Click Chat History in the sidebar. Your saved conversations appear with clear titles, user prompts, and dates. Click any card to reload the conversation and continue chatting.

Sharing Tools with Friends

• Share Bot Only: Copies a link that lets friends use the prompt tool immediately.
• Share Bot + Chat History: Saves and shares the actual conversation and outputs with your friends.

Sponsor Slots & Advertising

We do not display annoying display ads. Instead, we offer high-impact native sponsor cards inspired by Google Play Store.

You can always tell what is an ad because it will explicitly have the Sponsored badge on the card. Sponsored tools do not pollute community search results; they only live in dedicated shelves.

• Home Featured Shelf (Slot 1 & 2): Premium placement on the 14-item Explore shelf seen by 100% of homepage visitors.

Help & Troubleshooting FAQs

1. Why does generation say "Missing Key"?

Every tool requires your own free API key to work. Click here to learn how to add your key in Settings.

2. Is it really free? Do I need to buy a subscription?

Yes! Because you bring your own API key, all the standard tools are 100% free with unlimited generations. There is no hidden subscription required to use the core features.

3. How do I prevent rate limits when generating lots of content?

You can rotate multiple keys. Check the API Keys section to see how to paste multiple keys separated by commas.

4. Can I use custom or experimental AI models?

Yes. If Google or Groq releases a new model, you don't have to wait for us to update the app. Just select "Enter Custom ID..." in the dropdown and paste the exact model string.

5. How do I get the Verified Blue Checkmark (✓)?

You unlock it automatically once you reach 50 followers in the community. Read more about Creator Badges here.

6. Why didn't my daily coins reset?

Daily coins (500 for Basic, 2,000 for Pro/Verified) reset once every day at midnight (Asia/Kolkata timezone). If your balance hasn't refreshed, simply reload the page or click your avatar in the header to force a cloud sync.

7. I boosted my GPT, why isn't it on the homepage yet?

To keep the platform blazing fast, we use global edge caching. Your boost is active for 5 full days, but it fully populates across all users' devices starting tomorrow. Learn more about boosting.

8. How do I safely update a published Community GPT?

Just edit it from My GPTs and check the resubmit box. The live version stays online with zero downtime while admins review your new draft. See the full publishing workflow.

9. I'm terrible at writing System Prompts. How can I build a good bot?

Use our official Custom GPT Bot Builder! Click the "Build with AI" button in the Create GPT modal, and our agent will write a 1,500-word professional prompt for you. Read the guide here.

10. Where is my data saved?

All private custom bots, saved notes, and chat histories are saved into your own Google Drive folder (3schools-prompt). You maintain full ownership of your creative content.

11. How do I report a broken or inappropriate GPT?

Open the tool's chat window and click the Flag (🏳️) icon next to the creator's name. Enter the issue, attach an optional screenshot, and tap Submit to email our moderation team directly.

12. What does the "Sponsored" tag mean?

It means a brand paid to show you their tool. Sponsored tools never pollute organic search results and are kept clearly marked. Read our advertising policy.
