I faced the same issue while uploading my thesis abstract last month. Don't do it manually, you will make a mistake. Use the Advanced Text Splitter tool on 3schools. It has a dedicated mode for character count splitting.

Aniket, I just checked the link. It looks very professional but I am a bit confused. I see many options like Regex, Pipe, Comma etc. Which one should I select to get my 1000 character blocks? Also, will it tell me how many blocks it created?

Here is the exact setup:
Input Text: (Paste your 8000 character document here)
Settings:
1. In "Split Target By" dropdown, select Character Count.
2. In the "Type custom value" box that appears, enter 1000.
3. Turn ON the Trim Spaces switch so that each block starts with a clean word.
4. Click the Process & Split button.
Output:
The tool will break your text into 8 pieces. You can see Items: 8 in the stats box at the bottom.

This is a lifesaver for me too! I am a social media manager and I need to split long captions into "Part 1", "Part 2" for Instagram slides. Each slide has a limit. But can this tool automatically add "Part" before every chunk so I don't have to type it 10 times?
